So you got a week of holiday and want to go visit someplace that has a warm climate and scenic beaches. Which climate would you choose: Myrtle Beach: Palermo:

Where the heck is the myrtle beach station located , i always wondered why it was so much colder than Wilmington and had big winter diurnals . For reference Wilmington’s station is 7 miles inland and north of town .
Oh and of course myrtle beach.

MYRTLE BEACH Palermo is a disgusting semi-arid shit heap. Almost the same name as Metsfap's dream climate too Mind you ( re title of the climate battle ie; 'vacation'), no one wants it to be raining while on vacation / holidays, so a dry summer climate like Palermo fits the bill way better than the warm season rainfall maximum of Myrtle Beach.

Depends on the goal of your vacation. Myrtle beach does have more interesting marine wildlife in the oceans, due to warm waters and ocean currents fueling the storms. Migrating Dolphins, rays, and sharks can't be found in the med region. But there are many offshore from myrtle beach, which makes for a good glass bottom boat trip. I spotted 12 wild dolphins and 2 hammerheads during my trip .

Myrtle Beach... summers are far too hot in either place but thunderstorms make my choice the better one.

One of the easiest climate battles ever. Palermo wins it by far, glorious Mediterranean paradise. 86/72 and dry, sunny = perfect beach weather (and perfect summer weather). Myrtle Beach's wet summers make it a shitty place to take a beach vacation.
And even if we're taking the whole year into account, Palermo is still far superior for its wetter winters and lack of extreme record lows

MYRTLE BEACH Palermo is a disgusting semi-arid shit heap. Almost the same name as Metsfap's dream climate too September thru April is very suited to agriculture in Palermo. The place almost has a year-round growing season temperature-wise, Palermo probably gets like one light freeze per year. Fuck off you Med-hater.

Palermo because it's drier and it is warmer in the winter. Although I take it that it's pretty cloudy in the winter.

Both have solid summers, but Palermo has milder winter lows, so I'll go with that.

Palermo because it is warmer, is much closer to me and I like the Mediterranean rainfall pattern. By the way, apples and oranges, the averages of Myrtle are new but averages of Palermo are much older. I think Palermo is warmer under the new averages.
