Excluding precip. cooling itself, such as from convective showers/T-storms, do you prefer to see precipitation/rain/snow fall predominately in the warmer, or cooler than normal days?

Above during the warm half of the year. Warm rain kicks ass. In winter, I don't care. Winter can do what it wants.

Positive, especially in min temps. Diurnals should decrease during warm periods and increase during cold periods.

Depends on the season. Summer I'd prefer precip fall with generally average temps (in the form of convective thunderstorms). The rest of the year, especially during the winter, I want precip during below average temperatures to maximize snowfall, minimize cold rain, and retain relatively mild averages.

Negative in winter. Then the warm days are nice and pleasant and the cold days get snow. April to September I donโt really care.

ALWAYS below averageโno matter what season. Precipitation should always cool down temps.
The notion of precipitation occuring at above average temps, is quite simply an alien concept to me and which I find to be highly repulsive. Fuck warm fronts.

Positive in the winter here, so that it can be cold or mild rain instead of snow
Actually, should be positive in every season. Warmer anomalies here usually mean better frontal storms in the spring and fall, and just short-lived convective storms during the summer, and rain in summer should occur exclusively in short-lived convective storms with low rain rates.
Also, diurnals should decrease during cold periods (fuck extreme cold) and increase during warm periods (dry heat ) You just contradicted yourself. How can diurnals increase in warm periods if rain also falls during warm periods? Can't have it both ways

My family thought the same because they originally from a semi-arid Med climate. They were shocked of the summer rains. But how is it an alien concept to knot because most of Australia is summer-rain dominant?

In mid autumn to late spring I prefer precipitation to occur at below average temperatures, bought on by cold fronts. In summer and early autumn rain should mainly fall on warmer than average days, bought on by convective thunderstorms.

Various, slightly inclined to warmer than normal in winter & definitely cooler than normal in summer. I don't want to see any kind of precipitation above 20ยฐC, to keep the dew point ideal.

Precipitation in my dream climate should fall mostly at cooler than normal temperature anomalies, especially with cooler than normal daytime highs. The exception being during the winter, where a healthy portion of the total precipitation should fall via warm fronts.
