Ocracoke for the warmer winters. Summers are still pretty bad.

Ocracoke easily, which besides the rainy summers, is quite close to my dream climate

I'll of course pick Marquette for its 4 distinct seasons, I think both are an interesting climate for their region as they have long growing seasons relative to close by places. For example, Marquette's average growing season is substantially longer than Duluth's (162 vs 122 days), and Ocracoke's average growing season is substantially longer than Wilmington's (293 vs 244 days), with Ocracoke even having gone several winters without a frost/freezing temperature. And the latter is what I find especially interesting about Ocracoke, since it's an especially big slap in the face of City-Data's premise that 'the Southeast US is a polar continental climate for the latitude'.

Warm, rainy summers are the best.

Has never happened once. Even during the mildest winter on record in terms of extreme min temp, Ocracoke still managed to reach freezing.

"some years do not record a freeze, with the recent winters of 2015โ2016, 2016โ2017, 2017โ2018, and 2018โ2019 not recording one." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ocracoke,_North_Carolina#Climate

Most things on Wikipedia regarding climate are. The suggestion of a freeze-free Jan 2018 is laughable.

Marquette easily. Tommy's right, the wiki statement is false. Min temps for Ocracoke. Go here, nowdata.rcc-acis.org/mhx/, then select more stations. I crossed out years where the winter months had missing data. 2019-2020 was the mildest winter but still recorded a freeze (32F) in February. In Jan 2018, nearby Cape Hatteras dropped into the teens. Edit: using the full POR, 32 is still the mildest. It has a lot of missing years. Cape Hatteras airport has never gone a winter without dropping into the 20's, and that has consistent data back to 1957.

Crunch41 tommyFL I removed that paragraph claiming that Ocracoke hasn't seen freeze(s) on multiple winters...hopefully my edit won't be reverted by some data-averse fucker

Ocracoke for warmer winters, more intense rainfall and likely more winter sun
