My interest in Richmond comes from lifelong support for the Richmond Football Club, one of Australian Rules Football's greatest clubs based in an inner working class suburb of Melbourne. Richmond the suburb has had a makeover in recent decades and a Richmond address is somewhat trendy nowadays. I was largely unaware of the other Richmonds in Australia as a young person, and only knew of Richmond, VA due to being an avid reader of Civil War histories, oh and of course the line in the Band's song 'The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down' "In the winter of '65 We were hungry, just barely alive By May the 10th, Richmond had fell It's a time I remember, oh so well." So, some Richmond's in the USA and AU for a climate battle and because I'm a mad follower of the Richmond FC, some blatant club propaganda... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richmond_Football_ClubRichmond, VA Richmond, NSW Richmond, CA Richmond, VIC ( data from the nearby Melbourne Regional Office ) Richmond, TX Richmond, QLD

Richmond, London. Nice rich suburb with a better climate than all this rubbish. Shame it's not in the options though

Richmond, Victoria wins it for me. Best temperatures of the bunch and the summers are decently dry.

Tough choice, but I'll go with the QLD one. TX is good too -- better storm potential and much wetter. But QLD is more comfortable year-round and I think they still manage some alright storms.

The NSW one. Not because it's a great climate, but because the others are pretty bad.
