B from me as well. Inoffensive generally and perfect winters, but could easily use hotter/drier summers.

C+ Its one of those pretty bland North Island climates, inoffensive mostly. Te Teko is slightly inland so is a bit warmer in summer and the mins in winter are cool enough for some nice ( if you like that sorta thing ) frosts. I've not been there, but flew into Tauranga ( an hour away on the coast ) for a mates wedding in 2016. Late Dec/early Jan very pleasent on the Bay Of Plenty.

C. I believe this place has the warmest average highs of any place in NZ. It's a good example of why I had to get out of that country. It's painfully dull. Lukewarm summers with no real, sustained heat. Wet, mild, cloudy winters with no snow (even frost is probably rare although the record lows are colder than I expected). And very few storms. But temps are liveable, so I can't rate it too badly. I would probably prefer Hastings to this place. Similar temps, but drier.

Too wet and unsunny. Expected better for its pleasant temperatures.
