I think that I found my favorite Spanish climate, just made this climobox from Catalonia's met service data, where they only have 2007-2016 data for many stations. Situated in the Catalonia region close to the border with France, Espolla has wet autumns and springs (by Spanish standards) while still maintaining dry summers, and the temperature pattern is pretty much perfect. I rate it an A.

B is the rating. Only bad things here are the dry summer pattern and the continentiality of the diurnals, except for June-September nights.

B. Pretty nice. Usually these types of climates suffer from wet winters but this one keeps the winters pretty dry and the temps are ok.

B Lovely but my only gripe is that it could be warmer in winter

That's a B climate....nothing too extreme. Med pattern rainfall which is fine....warm and dry, then cool and wet....

Dryer and warmer than ideal but could be worse. Temps are okay outside of summer.
