Uviéu is the place's real name Not a fake Spaintard name here. For me it's B+++ Summers are a little bit meh, especially for failing to hit 24C avg highs and winters are a degree or so too cold to warrant an A, but it's still an exceptionally comfy climate, especially for that altitude at 43N!

A bit bland, but scores high for comfort at least. C.

Rating grade B as well here. Absolutely gorgeous climate compared to rest of the Spanish territory. Somehow I believed Santander has the best climate in Spain before finding this out.

It would've been an A with more sunshine The UV would be pretty decent enough I guess at 43N and at 360 metres elevation, judging by my skin in Porto during mid-June at sea level tho I reckon 1750 hours there would feel like 2300 hours in Stockholm or something

Did you fixed this place climate table? Not the Weatherbox itself, but much of the commentary surrounding Oviedo's Wikipedia entry is me yes.

A bit bland, but scores high for comfort at least. C. Downtown is at 280 metres elevation, so is likely way nearer 24C in summer and 13C in winter than the weather station at the top of a hill. I've identified where it must be being an Asturias freak

UV strength/hour? But that makes no sense. Oviedo has a higher UV during midday, Stockholm has a higher UV in the morning and evening. Shown with this simple image. The black line is the horizon. The closer to the equator you are the more the sun arch is like the red line. The closer you are to the poles the more the sun arch looks like the orange line. For example on day 200 (19 July), the sun is above 40 degrees roughly from 10:55 to 18:05 in Oviedo. In Stockholm it's above 40 degrees from 9:50 to 16:00. This despite on that day the peak angle is 67 degrees in Oviedo and 51 in Stockholm. People get too hooked up on the peak angle, which after all only for a few minutes at the equator.

Oviedo's higher elevation will undoubtedly push it higher than it is in Gijón though. I do believe that especially in winter there's a mega-massive UV difference between Oviedo and Stockholm, even though by then any UV strength in Oviedo is completely harmless obviously

Sure the UV radiation some percents higher, but doesn't make a big difference. In UV 0 conditions the situation is a bit different, but Oviedo isn't very sunny there either

There you also have the snow reflection so especially in late winter it must be quite easy to get burned...
