Haha....move to Southern Hemisphere tropics....we have hot and sunnier in July.... Tropical climates suck for the most part, except for places like Lanai City, Norfolk Island, and Bermuda to name a few. Norfolk Is ain't anywhere near tropical....solidly 'sub tropical' by climate and latitude ( 29.03*S ) and is 5.6* South of the Tropic of Capricorn.

I'll have to go for Istanbul. Orange gets polar shots in summer, and only really wins on sunshine whilst Istanbul is superior in all other departments.

You can argue that, but then again, highly temperate areas like Raleigh and Atlanta are grouped right in into the same category as Norfolk Island, despite being two completely different climates aside from the Koppen system.

Bermuda can be argued to be tropical, but Norfolk Island is definitely subtropical. You can argue that, but then again, highly temperate areas like Raleigh and Atlanta are grouped right in into the same category as Norfolk Island, despite being two completely different climates aside from the Koppen system. It could be argued, too, that any places that experience winter frost, ice and snow ie Raleigh and Atlanta are simply not 'subtropical'...... ?
