Badgerys Creek is the site of Sydney's second international airport that is scheduled to be opened in 2026. It is an inland Sydney suburb.

B, better than regular Sydney, but winters are too dry and summers too wet. Temps look nice.

B-
Could use warmer lows in the summer, and more precipitation in the winter, but not bad.

E+
Too dry and generally too warm. But not a bad climate for the climate type.

My late father spent 20 years protesting the location of Sydney's second Airport at Badgery's Creek. As usual everyone agrees Sydney needs a second Airport, but the NIMBY ( Not In My Back Yard ) sentiment is strong amongst locals. Its climatically your bog stock standard western suburbs of Sydney climate.....no surprises here whatsover.

B-Could use warmer lows in the summer, and more precipitation in the winter, but not bad. Climate station is only around 27 years old (as you can see), so the precipitation pattern hasn't quite found its place. But winter can be prone to East Coast Lows, which can bring so much rain. And all the rain you need here comes by early autumn. So these drier winters will be very welcoming, trust me.

C+, as the summers and winters are a little bit too warm/cool for my liking, and the precipitation is rather low for forests to thrive. As a result, I prefer the climate of Sydney International Airport.

B+ for being drier, having cooler winters and not having much more sunshine than Sydney
