Even if Hotel California was there, I wouldn't vote for it. It's not a bad song, but it's overplayed to the point where I now find it annoying.

Hotel California still wins it for me. Just a reminder that California Gurls (from Katy Perry and Snoop Dogg) should also be on here. That song was the first song I remember listening to lol, I was like 5 or 6 when it came out. There's also a completely unrelated California Girls by The Beach Boys.

Honestly, good song. I wouldn't turn it off.
As for the OP, I'm not quite sure how to respond and/or vote. The pattern seems to be songs with California (or some variation thereof) in the title, whereas the thread title says songs mentioning California. If it's the latter, I can think of other songs that I'd choose besides just the ones mentioned so far.
