With a record low of -9.4ยฐC and a record high of 46.8ยฐC, Mitchell has the largest overall temperature range in Australia.
I'd give Mitchell a C. While I do like the high winter diurnal ranges, cool winter nights and stormy summers, temperatures (specifically maximums) are too high and rainfall is too low year round. How would you rate it?

Would rate it a B. Overall not bad.

D. No month is offensively bad, but the high summer and winter difference for Australian standards, the relatively low precipitation and humidity creating a semi-arid feeling and frequent summer heatwaves lowers the grade for me to a D.

C+, inoffensive but pretty meh, Iโd like cooler, rainier winters and drier summers.

A solid C. I'm assuming the summers mostly have dry heat with some occasional thunderstorms which raise humidity. Winter nights are a bit too cool.
Btw, Richmond (in western Sydney) has the second largest overall temperature range in Australia.

C. Warm and dry, but not excessive (though diurnals are quite large)
