E+
Summers are decent enough, especially with precip peaking in summer, but those record highs are atrocious.
Winters are boring but pleasant.
Boring climate overall but at least they get more storms than Renmark.

Decent climate, it's a B. Could be much better though with more winter rain and drier summers.

Penrith earns a B- in my opinion: the seasonal difference is greater than ideal, but springs and autumns are nice!

Wow that's an epic month there this month, presumably due to the La Niña and -IOD. However, the place averages just 30mm of rainfall in July and August, and just 48mm in June. Contrast that with my ideal climate, which gets about 130mm of rainfall on average in each winter month.

Very good. Just needs more winter rain. Look at that December through March, especially with those record highs: perfection.

D. Summers are variable enough. Pleasant winters. If summers were less variable and much drier some climates inland of Los Angeles (Ontario, Riverside) would be quite similar.

My current climate gets more than double that amount, and my dream climate gets more than triple that amount, so Penrith's winters are not nearly rainy enough for me, and its summers are far too rainy.

If humidity was lower in summer it would easily be an A for me and would match Perth especially due to how few rainy days there are.

Just realised that these were 9am humidity figures (morning humidity is high in many non-desert areas I believe). Not sure why they used 9am RH for Penrith, because every climate featured on Wikipedia displays 12pm-3pm RH figures (including all Australian climates). Anyway, here are the 3pm figures: Seems just moderately humid, but it's pretty mild compared to south & eastern USA and east Asia.
