For the east we have Shitchester. And for the west, thereโs Fort Cummins: Take your pick, both have plenty of fizzers, boring spells, forecast busts and no storms.

Gonna have to go with Shitchester I guess. Wetter, snowier, and cooler overall. Neither are ideal though.

Ft Collins.
These are not boring climates to me. Try Glasgow and Dublin or something.

Ft Collins. These are not boring climates to me. Try Glasgow and Dublin or something. Deffo. Ft Collins sounds a bit boring in summer, but 3/4ths of the year, it's prolly one of the least boring climes out there. Ayway, Rochester for me: it gets an A from me vs a B for Fort Collins due to the OTT dryness. Rochester is pretty much ideal actually.

Fort Collins.
When I read the title I thought it would be between Redwood City and San Diego or something.

Steeler regretting the move from one boring climate to another?
Rochester for me since it is wetter all year and has more snow.

Itโs mostly a joke, thereโs far more boring climates but exciting weather does always seem to hit nearby places instead.
Fort Collins is only interesting when thereโs a wet pattern, if itโs dry like last fall or April, itโs a snoozefest. Maybe 1-2 days of precipitation in a month, generally just light rain. It only had a single thunderstorm in May and none in April this year.
Itโs also not particularly variable. Yes, there can be extreme temperature drops when a cold snap comes through which is exciting, but contrary to the stereotype, this is rare. Maybe once a month outside of summer at most, often less. And yes there are months with 10 f highs and 60 f highs (or a similar range), keyword months. Again, drops that big in a day or two are rare, more often theyโll be a cold part of the month, then a warm part with a couple days of warming/cooling in between. Day to day, the weather is stable more often than not.
And unless all the storms are happening in June and July when I havenโt been there, theyโre few and far between. In the 20 months Iโve lived there, thereโs been a grand total of 11 storms.

Fort Cummins easily. It's still a horrible climate, but at least it's warmer than Shitchester, and it has much drier summers.

Fort Collins for the greater difference in extremes and drier summers.
