Can't answer. 21 highs can feel cool or warm depending on the weather, and 21 dewpoints; what's the temperature? If it's a comfortable 23-24 that's fine, if it's 33 then it sucks.

70 F (21 C) highs
Granted, 70 F is a benign, comfortable temperature. It's slightly cool sitting outside in the shade, and can feel warm fast if you're working out, especially if it's humid. But that's precisely what makes it not feel particularly summerlike. Just as others expect a "real" winter with subzero temperatures and copious snowfall, I expect a "real" summer: one that's consistently warm or hot during the day, and at least reasonably mild at night. 70 F highs do not pass this test.

Though I despise summer humidity, 70F highs are worse. Proper summers should have highs of at least 75F-80F, and ideally 85F-90F. Also, high dewpoints don't necessarily mean that it's going to rain, as plenty of places have humid, albeit rainless, summers.

21C dewpoints, as I'm not used to summer humidity.
21C highs are OTOH not uncommon here, and can be quite comfortable with sunshine. Granted it's not very summerlike, but it beats mugginess.

The only time I've experienced 21c dewpoints here was with a 21c high.
If 21c highs were suicidal, then I would hate the first half of June, but I don't.

Both are OK in my books, but talking long term I prefer 70 dps to 70 highs in summer. Plenty of time in spring and fall for 70 highs.

21 C dew points, because 21 C highs can still be quite pleasant if days are long and sunny. That being said, most of the world experiences higher average dews than that during the sun-high season.

I'd prefer 70 F highs as average in summer, but 70+ F dps are fine every once in a while as long as they fuel strong/severe thunderstorms.

Mind you we did have a 21.1c day in july 1968 ( coldest day on record )

21 C highs. A 21 C dew is noticeably muggy but nothing too crazy. The Persian gulf can get 30+ C DPs.

70°F highs, without a question!As a matter of fact, 70°F dew points feel neutral to me now, being acclimatized to dew points in the mid to upper 70s—both indoors and outdoors this summer. Plus, Giorbanguly desiccatedi85 in a lot of the coastal Med locales y'all harp on, dew points in the lower-mid 70s aren't really rare. Something doesn't quite add up.
