Another classic East verses West climate battle. The comparo was prompted by an old mate who called in the other day after working a 4 month stint on a huge wheat farm at Eneabba, 300klm north of Perth. He lives in Narracoorte in South Australia, and hooks up the caravan and heads over the West for the ploughing/seeding season which starts with the Autumn Break rains. Said he was sick of crossing the Nullabor towing a van, so doing a lap around the continent and heading home via the east coast. Both he and I have spent years working mining and construction in the north of WA and the NT, so the climate of Eneabba is quite different with its Med pattern rainfall. Both myself and Wombat ( the mate's nickname as he actually resembles a wombat being about 5' tall and 5' wide...lol ) follow Aussie Rules Football and Cricket and we have attended games at Brisbane's stadium, the 'Gabba in the inner city suburb of Woolloongabba. I lived just accross the river in Newfarm for about 8 months doing a demolition job on the Wharves, so it took me all of 5 mins to drive over the Storey Bridge to attend games there. ENEABBA, WA Eneabba has ya classic Med climate. Its claim to fame is for being one of the premier wildflower touring places in all of WA. wildflowercountry.com.au/WOOLLOONGABBA, QLD Woolloongabba is an inner city suburb of Brisbane and therefore has a quintessential AU version of a subtropical climate. A very easy place to live and work. normanhotel.com.au/woolloongabba/Climate of Brisbane: Brisbane has a humid subtropical climate (Kรถppen climate classification: Cfa) with year-round period with warm to hot temperatures. Brisbane generally experiences 3 months of mild cool winter from June to August.

Woolloongabba. Slightly warmer and much drier and likely sunnier winters. Summers would have the typical subtropical rain pattern which is better than the med rainfall of Eneabba winters.

Eneabba, didn't really have to look. Nice diurnal in summer there.

More shitty climates.... Neither. I'd rather an AVG. max of 16 than 36 in summer.

Eneabba for the Mediterranean rainfall pattern, I need not say more.

Eneabba. It's too hot in the summer, but I gotta go for the Med climate.

I'll have to give an edge to Woolloongabba for the higher rainfall. Shout out to Eneabba for the lows though.

Queensland easily, eastern Australia will always beat the Mediterranean climates of Western Australia.

Sorry, don't want to be flooded.
The WA one by far. Winters are also beautiful and aren't wet for Med standards.

I'll give it to Brisbane for warmer lows/more storms/higher dewpoints, The other option has better highs, but too cold lows in summer
