This poll is a perfect example of the lack of diversity in CA's climates. There really is only one climate type. All have dry as fuck summers, the only difference is temps and how much rain they get in winter. I'll guess I'll pick San Diego for the best temps. California is one of the worst places in the CONUS for thunderstorms, too: That’s a plus for me. I wish I lived somewhere where thunderstorms are uncommon.

Hot-summer Mediterranean, warm-summer Mediterranean, cold-summer Mediterranean, dry-winter Mediterranean, continental Mediterranean, subarctic Mediterranean, just to name a few.
