Tehran is the capital of Iran. Tehrangeles is the nickname given to the Persian community of Los Angeles. I heard from someone that the reason so many Persians immigrated to SoCal is that it has a similar Mediterranean climate to Iran. I think the real reason is that SoCal's climate is so much better than Iran's lol. What do you think? TehranTehrangeles (Westwood, Los Angeles) Even though it's a boring climate, I expect Westwood to win in a landslide.

Tehran.
That data looks a bit suspect though, especially the average summer highs.

It's funny because there's a big Armenian community in SoCal, but Yerevan is a pretty shitty climate, especially in comparison to Los Angeles

Westwood for being wetter. Westwood is a good bit wetter than Downtown or Coastal LA, so it’s better. Tehran is far too dry for my tastes.

The original Tehran for me. Nice winters, summers too warm at night but the temp variation wins it. Both climates are too dry either way

Tehran is a tad too chilly in winter, otherwise not bad. Tehrangeles is not bad either, warmer and pleasant wetter cooler months gets the vote.

Tehrangeles. Year-round comfort trumps hot summers for me.

Tehran I guess. Haven’t seen a climate battle with a good option in a while.

Tehrangeles for me. Tehran is just as boring, and not as comfortable.

Yes I'm being the contrarian here. Tehran has summer warmth this part of the LA metro area could only dream of.

Tehrangeles in a landslide for much milder winters.
