I find it interesting that the June 2021 mega heat wave was the only monthly hot or cold record set in the past 30 years.

Now we need some stats for lowest minimum and highest maximum. That would be unbelievably hard to accomplish. Wish Environment Canada made it easier to view extremes like NOWdata. Also, where are those 1991-2020 normals Environment Canada?

I was looking for this a few weeks back. Thanks for posting it again.
Fort Vermilion is the only cold spot outside the territories. That station must have a extremely good location for radiational cooling, or at least it did back in the early 1900's.

You could probably run a Python script to do something like that if the raw data is readily available.

I forgot how I did it though. I thought of that idea to make sure the extremes were accurate but I can't code.
