At least wood suitable for smoking meat. I am assuming all of these trees grow well in their respective climates. Also, it is just a coincidence that these are all in the US besides one. First up is none other than the infamous Appleton, Wisconsin. Cherry Hill, New Jersey Hickory, North Carolina Maple Ridge, British Columbia Mesquite, Nevada Oakland, California

Fappleton. Just a slightly warmer version of here, decent climate. All the others are either too warm or too mild overall.

It's between Hickory and Mesquite. I might go with Mesquite despite the aridity as it's the most consistently warm year-round.

I’ll go with Oakland because it’s the Mediterranean one, but it’s too boring, laggy, and cool in summer. Ideally I’d take Hickory’s temps and Oakland’s rainfall, but I need to pick Oakland as Hickory summers are too rainy.

Hickory
Still not great, but passable, and a fair bit better than my former hometown.

Maple Ridge for the rainy winters and pleasant summers.

Toss up between Oakland and Mesquite but winter lows are just too cold in Mesquite and summer highs are a bit too high. Oakland it is then.

Oakland for being normal. Lmao
Mesquite is quite interesting though. Not a bad climate for my standards at all

Of those choices, Mesquite. Should have included Inglewood, CA. I would've chosen that

Mesquite...oh and Mesquite the plant/tree was introduced as an ornamental in the late 19th/early 20th Century to the Pilbara. Of couse it now an environmental weed, and the State Govt spends millions of dollars a year trying to control/eradicate it. "There are over 40 different species of mesquite which differ mainly in the appearance of the compound leaves. There are also numerous hybrids. All members of the genus Prosopis are declared plants (noxious weeds) in Western Australia (WA) and are Weeds of National Significance (WoNS)". www.agric.wa.gov.au/declared-plants/mesquite-declared-pest

🖕🏿Mörön🖕🏿 , Speagles84 and alex992 would probably go with Tammela, Finland. Tammi means oak. Nearest weather station is Jokioinen:
Summers are a bit anemic but yes still probably better than Fappleton

Because it's Finland, not Raw-me.
