Do the Subantarctic islands count? Starts at 46 deg South apparently. Easy choice for most people haha.

I guess Dumont d'Urville Station, for having not unliveable winters, having some shot at above-freezing temps; and having a poor (though not disgraceful) amount of sunshine. Still an F, but at least not a minus.

Esperanza Base without any doubt. - Not as unbearably gloomy as the South Shetlands, Orcadas, and the western side of the Antarctic peninsula. - Above freezing summers. - Mild winters by Antarctic standards. - Sporadic occurrence of foehn winds can bring +10C temperatures.
Lack of sunshine should be the only downsides compared to other parts of the continent, which on the other side, are invariably colder. Strong winds might be another downside, but the calmer regions of Antarctica are awfully cold.

Esperanza base is extremely humid which makes it feel even colder than Vostok Station.
