Pillupuro Kyrvänvaara is a subarctic highland climate with bitterly cold and long winters, and brief cool summers. Precipitation is light troughout the year. Ski/potato zone.

There are some terrible climates in here, lol. Meteo's dry desert with freezing summer nights...Metsfan with the rainy winters that somehow don't see snow. Cheesehead I figured you would have warmer summers than those and just have a miserable couple months in winter.
Here's an idea. My ideal climate is about 5C mean. To reach 0, I kept the summer almost the same but made the shoulder seasons cold and winter colder. Winter is pretty snowy, then on the dry side for the spring thaw. May-July gets most of the storms, and August is a brief dry and warm period before fall hits hard in September. A second wet period is between September-November which is more frontal showers than strong storms.
On second thought, maybe I should cool down the summer and make that winter less extreme. December and January are frigid. Also, having a cold snowy April (for example 31/12 with 30" snow) would be pushing it even for a cold and snow lover like me.

Crunch41 Yeah, I saw Steeler's revised climate and figured I'd like that better. I just didn't want to make my winters TOO miserable. Maybe I'll make a revised one myself this weekend when I have a little more free time on my hands. Also, LMAO at " Met Service" and how that just coincidentally abbreviates to "PMS"

Here's my depression village, named Village de Glaçon, located about 57ºS on a little plateau. It is on a large continent on a planet slightly colder than Earth; and is depressed known for its variable winter weather conditions, with frequent Chinooks and cold fronts. It is the ice block factory of the world, due to its position nearby that large Lac d'Usine, somewhat moderating the climate (although frozen from early May to Mid October). The village is surrounded by hemiboreal forest, with a mixture of spruce, birch, maple, oak and the rare cherry blossom. Permafrost is not a problem, due to the thick winter snow cover insulating the ground. I decided to obviously make the climate as warm as possible; by sacrificing winter warmth for five enjoyable months of the year. Summers are warm, a little humid, sunny and consistent, with plenty of t-storms, downpours and occasional heatwaves. Springs and autumns are short transitions, with beautiful views of trees. Winters are very cold and moderately snowy, but with many sunny breaks and many chinooks. Skin would be a problem for seven months of the year, but since its so cold, 100% and 0% humidity have negligible differences. Overall, I would give this a D, as it is way too cold for most of the year, and the sunshine distribution is too summer-biased (inevitable at this latitude). At least it is a humid continental climate, well south of the treeline. P.S.- I am not sure how snow ratios work. Maybe they are unrealistic?

Let it be said I fucking hate cold, and fucking hate cold rain, so my climate would have to be as dry and sunny as possible if it's going to be this cold. The winters can't be too cold, so the summer nights will have to be fucking cold, as long as it's super sunny by day warming up fast. There would be hardly any rain. Any rain would come from thunderstorms that somehow form during summer days. It was hard to come up with this, even drunk. So this is what I got: *NOTE yeah it's not quite down to 0, so sue me. It's the best I could do after messing with the numbers for hours. Looks very similar to a climate in the Andean Altiplano, with the seasons reversed.
