Climate battle between the northernmost and southernmost places in Victoria. I suspect some of you will have strong opinions about this Mildura Wilsons Prom

Mildura is an extremely easy choice. Wilson's has such a boring climate I fell asleep just looking at the climate box.

Mildura. Way too easy. If it was a contest of beauty, Wilson's would win easily.

I grew up in Northern Victoria...we universally loathed Southern Victorian climates. I remember camping there ( The Prom ) over the New Year 1977/78 Was warmish thank fuck...lol 30/12 - 19.0c 31/12 - 30.5c 01/01 - 33.6c 02/01 - 16.3c 03/01 - 15.6c

lmao guess which one I chose
Fun fact.... in strong notherlies just ahead of a cold front, Wilsons Prom can record rediculous temps. I've seen a reading of 38C at 2.00am there once.

Actually somewhat difficult choice for me.
I hate heat but Wilsons is not that great and still gets heat. I'll go with Mildura.

Mildura for actually having hot, dry summers, in addition to warm shoulder seasons and nice mild winters. Sure it's too dry, but the temps are far superior.
Ideally though, I'd take Mildura temps but with Wilson's rainfall amounts and pattern

Wilsons Prom - more rain and pleasant temps. Don't like the dryness of Mildura.

Lmao this is a climate massacre
I'll go with Mildura for the better temps and not being mind-numbingly boring, but Wilsons has the better precipitation imo

Mildura for being more interesting and having more seasonal variation.
On a side note I was in Mildura this week and the weather was a bit Wilson's prom-ish. Temperatures were in the low 20s C with nearly constant wind and sporadic rainfall. From what I saw it was much worse in Melbourne lol.

MilduraIt's, uh...the one that isn't a subarctic shithole... There are no subarctic climates in the Southern Hemisphere, only subantarctic. I also donโt neither a subarctic nor Subantarctic climate would have a an average low of 8C in winter. An actual subantarctic climate would be the Macquarie Island or any island on the southern oceans.
