MilduraIt's, uh...the one that isn't a subarctic shithole... There are no subarctic climates in the Southern Hemisphere, only subantarctic. I also don’t neither a subarctic nor Subantarctic climate would have a an average low of 8C in winter. An actual subantarctic climate would be the Macquarie Island or any island on the southern oceans. You clearly don't know the unique lingo and figurative usages of words found on this forum, do you? No shit it's in the southern hemisphere and not literally a subpolar climate. But it is a shitty climate that's cool year-round and lacks a consistently warm, or even mild, summer.

Except, "subarctic" is a figurative way on this forum to describe shitty cold climates that get stratocrapulus most of the year (both subarctic in the NH and subantarctic in the SH), MassivesHIVes.

No need to be a dick about it, though. Yes, it is stupid to call that climate “subarctic” and this forum should be more receptive to new members calling out some of its idiotic terminology. If I was new here, I certainly wouldn’t want to be mocked for not knowing all the slang that’s used here.

My issue with Massiveshibes' comment in the previous page was that despite the fact that he was here for about half a year, he repeatedly took the word "subarctic" (example cdweather.boards.net/post/231506/thread ) literally, and for what it's worth, I personally find it annoying when others tell me to cut out which words I say (if they aren't obviously offensive words of course).
