A couple of places named Mitchell, one in the Northern Hemisphere, one in the Southern Hemisphere. The same names, but very different climatically; should get the juices flowing equally for polar foamers and heat wankers...
The similarities ( other than the name ) is that both places are located in the middle of Woop Woop, beyond the black stump. ( an AU term for 'remote' )
Oh, and a coupla pics of Mitchell B25 WW2 era Bombers, several squadrons were based in and around Darwin and carried out raids into Jap occupied South East Asia
