Melbourne. Faro's dry summers are intolerable.

Faro, because like all of southern Europe, it is warmer than Melbourne.

Faro
Warmer year-round, with two actually warm months in summer. The climates might look similar at first glance, but it's not even a contest.

Faro by far indeed! That's an A- climate at best. What a perfect climate, especially for 37'N.
Why can't you be like this, Melbourne!?

You know Melbourne Airport is cheating... The Melbourne Regional Office ( not far from the pic in the OP ) has records back to the 1850's and is representative of the CBD. The Airport at Tullarmarine is a long way from the the official Melbourne data which nowadays is at Olympic Park near the CBD. Slightly warmer maxes at the Airport and cooler mins than in the CBD. In any case Faro has a better climate...classic Med it seems... warm dry summers, wet winters.

Melbourne for being more comfortable (cooler) in summer and generally more variable as well. Been to Faro in August, it was basically just 95% sun, 5% cloud and dead boring weather basically..

Faro for being warmer, sunnier and likely less drizzle. Temps and sunshine are nearly perfect, but the dryness prevents an A (B+).
