Both have great temps, but Mangalore looks a lot more oppressively humid during the monsoon. Speaking of which, 1000+ mm in one month is a bit much. So, I pick Bangalore.

Bangalore for relative thermal comfort (temps + dew points) alone
Mangalore has a very interesting seasonal temperature profile tho

Bangalore for relative thermal comfort (temps + dew points) alone Mangalore has a very interesting seasonal temperature profile tho That temp profile is the norm for sub continent monsoonal climates....max temps always peaks pre the arrival of the Monsoon, and in Mangalore's case, drops during the peak rainfall months, due to cloud cover/rain days. Pretty well the same during the north AU monsoon, with max temps occurring Oct-mid Dec., Mangalores peak is the NH equivalent, March-May.

Mangalore's climate is unusual because the rainy season is cooler than the winter solstice part of the dry season. The only other part of the world where that's the case (as far as I know) is the Gulf of Guinea coast of West Africa around Lagos.
