Inspired by our local ABC radio mornings jock phoning up and interviewing the Mayor of Darwin, Minnesota this morning our time. One can barely think of 2 more different climates, Darwin, NT and Darwin, MN, especially in January ! DARWIN, OK    DARWIN, MN   DARWIN, IL   DARWIN, CA   DARWIN, ZIMBABWE   VILLA DARWIN, URUGUAY   DARWIN, ARGENTINA   MOUNT DARWIN, TAS  A similar altitude and climate ( and a west coast location ) Mount Read  MOUNT DARWIN/DARWIN GLACIER, ANTARCTICA    |

Mt Pleasant, beautiful temps all year round.
The others are either sweaty torrid summer shitholes for heatfreaks or get derelict bone chilling winters.

Mt Pleasant is cold af lol Winters are a bit colder than here so nothing too bad for what I'm used to rlly. Summers could be a bit warmer but them nights are mighty refreshing for sleeping. |

I pick Galapagos, very dry for a tropical climate but those temps are as comfortable as it gets. NT and Zimbabwe are really good, too.
