Well the MTD Oct avg high at the airport is 26.6C, which is above avg (and is also Melbourne's avg Feb high ). Last several days though have been a gamut of crap southerlies with low 20's highs. What temps do you expect above 20C? The highs, or the temps at this particular time in the evening? late in Spring? It's only just passed mid spring last week dude Spring ends on Nov 30

It's overcast and I don't even want to look at the thermometer, but I assume it's 7C and windy as usual So I guess you could've been a lot worse of. In addition there's a Labor gubburmunt too

In addition there's a Labor gubburmunt too It has been 20C at 7:30pm plenty of times this month, but remember it is a dry climate and the temp drops quick after sunset. There's been a couple of instances this month when it was in the 20's up till midnight or something, only for it to be 11-12C at sunrise. Wind direction is also critical to dictating temps. TOnight we got a strong blast out of the west, which dropped the temp 5C in a few minutes, so looks like some sort of change came through. It was also raining. Highest overnight low this month on my PWS is 19.8C The same change went through Adelaide earlier and the temp there dropped to 17C from 27C by 4pm, but has now risen to 20.7C at 8pm. Looks like this change was a trough or something, not a real SW wank attack, I think it'll rise here later tonight aswell as the airmass moves east.

Here in summer, temps can remain stagnant and above 25C until 8.30-9 pm during hotter days, but then it plummets to 20C by midnight and all out of a sudden you get a 14C low in the morning. Then the cycle repeats next day with a 28C high. Never ceases to amaze me the sheer magnitude of that thermal drop without the sun due to the relatively low humidity here At 27C here I've never experienced any higher humidity than 45 %. That was a freak accident too.

Well that's pretty awesome tbh for somewhere at 58* in Sweden. Could have some good shirt and shorts drinking and BBQ parties The thermal drop here overnight on otherwise hot days can be rediculous if the wind is calm, or if the humidity is low or if the wind blows from anywhere that has the S word in it. On the other hand temps can climb 5-10C overnight if a warm, northerly airmass moves in. In summer we can also have humid airmasses from the tropics that can make it feel like Singapore, where even my beer sweats all over my table leaving a massive puddle of water. What I think you would like during a heatwave here is that endless daylight. Even at 10.30 pm you can still enjoy tons of daylight here in July and the temp can potentially be 21-22C if you're lucky. Then it perfectly darkens up enough to be able to fall asleep and have a good night of eight hours nappytime before starting the next day-a-geddon

It'a little above freezing in TavelsjΓΆ and snowing. It melts immediately on the ground though. 2.4'C in the city. Could be raining there.
Edit: Yeah, I'm in the city now, and it's drizzling here. Going to Holmsund, a coastal suburb. Let's see how the coastal vegetation looks.

There was one night during some thunderstorms where even the windows fogged over. Ofcourse I documented it Thanks for the tag I think I remember that actually, the window triggers my memory 12:40am, 25/10/2017: 13.6Β°C, showers, 99% humidity, no wind. 9.6mm fell before 12am. Extremes for 24/10/2017: 10.0Β°C/24.5Β°C.
