Rate this crappy SW Vic climate. I saw an ad on TV for it which featured families going on about what an awesome place it is, so here we are. I streetviewed it, it is actually pretty ugly. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamilton,_Victoria#Climate D+. The crummer lows are hysterically cold, bipolar crummers with avg highs spiked by a few intermittent hot days, and masses upon masses of drizzle. Chock full of subarctic stratocrapulus, moreso than Melbourne. Worse yet, it shares the name with Lewis Hamilton

Worse yet, it shares the name with Lewis Hamilton For that comment I got so happy that I decided to give you a little bit of a helping hand my friend A- actually. Love those summers and winters are certainly manageable and quite dry at that. It sharing the name with vegan-BLM-activist-FIA-brownnoser Lewis Cheatington almost cost it tho

Gonna have to necropost this one. A solid D, too chilly all year round, especially the nights. In a way, I like its summers better than Melbourne's because they seem drier, but the winters I'd prefer Mel's.

I think those sunshine hours are wrong there ^^ Likely these ones are closer to the real thing

^^ thats from the nearby Hamilton Research Station site..... one of the few places in AU that actually records legit sunshine hours. Knowing that part of south western Vic, ( my fathers family came from the district ) I'd say pretty well accurate. Lots of Wikiboxes have BS sunshine hours taken from all sorts of dubious sources... I myself mostly take little if any notice of them....

B, summer nights are too cool
Re. the sunshine hours, I doubt the wikibox is correct as there is almost no way it would have 290+ hours in Feb

A-, temps are great aside from the summer lows, and the precipitation pattern is amazing.

C-, slightly better than London but worse than Hobart IMO, particularly with that poor sunshine and summer diurnal range! Mediocre, but not disgraceful year-round, thanks to some warm summer days and lack of extreme cold
