Both cities are named after Louis IX of France and were historically important economic centres, but their climates are very different. One is a hot desert and the other is continental/borderline 'subtropical'. St. Louis, MO, USA It is the second-largest city and largest metropolitan area in Missouri. Saint-Louis, Senegal Saint-Louis is in the northwest of the country and was the capital during the French colonial era.

Farrrrrrk, this a hard choice. One has too cold winters and the other is a bit too monotonous. I think I'll give an edge to St. Louis MO

St. Louis Missouri for being temperate, getting good spring rains/storms, while not being extremely cold or snowy.

USA, because the Senegalese climate seems rather inhospitable, even if it isn't particularly extreme. Interesting how the USA one has a higher record high than the Senegal one.

Senegal
Would be an AMAZING climate if it weren't so arid. Still wins out because it lacks a cold winter.

Senegal one, which isn't so bad for its tropical location with its nice sun and dryish weather.
I just don't like winters with freezes

Senegal easy. It's an A+ climate vs. an E climate for Missouri. The Senegal one has one of the best climates in the world IMO.

Senegal, St Louis MO has what I call a worst of both worlds climate, hot humid summers AND cold frigid winters, with the 2nd half of fall and first half of spring subject to arctic outbreaks

St. Louis Missouri for being temperate, getting good spring rains/storms, while not being extremely cold or snowy. St Louis MO gets freak cold blasts which can give them high temps over 30°F below avg, the means are deceiving for what you'd actually experience outside the May-Sept timeframe
