Here you go guys! Cedar Island in NC is the warmest area of geographical NC by far With an average annual temperature of almost 67°F and an average annual maximum temperature of 77°F according to the official climate database of NOWData (https://www.weather.gov/wrh/climate?wfo=mhx), Cedar Island beats any area in geographical NC! In fact it even beats areas outside of the US South way south. A few examples: It is even warmer annually than almost the entirety of SoCal which is further south, beats the living hell out of climates like Tokyo, everywhere in East Asia north of 25°N, and even beats everywhere in the South Atlantic north of Charleston, SC! It even is nearly as warm as places like Tallahassee, FL, 4° further south! It even has summers that beat most other places in the US South! This is due to the constant hot, dry, downsloping/föhn southwesterlies and westerlies the leeward side of Cedar Island experiences year-round!

It's even a degree warmer than Southport NC. Impressive. It doesn't get more subtropique maximale than this. Imagining sabal palmettos and live oaks draped with Spanish moss

Did you know that Key Biscayne is the absolute champion of Floridian cold?

Very nice climate, though clearly a troll thread.

Here is the actual climate data for Cedar Island.
Edit: Okay, the 1991-2010 normals are like 4°F warmer and actually what benfxmth posted. Not sure why it warmed up so fast. It's gotta be a station issue or something.

Cedar Island also has a RAWS station that has been in operation since 2003. Here are the averages for comparison (too lazy to make a wikibox for it but you get the idea):

Cedar Island RAWS' average temps are about right, though precip is too high FWIW. Must be a rain gauge that's calibrated to tip too many times or something like that.
