I haven't done a fictional climate in a long time and they don't seem popular anymore here. This place is situated on an elevated hill, inland of some continent at a latitude of 33'N. It is so-named ("Treachery Hill") because most of the year seems pretty pleasant and nice, until the brunt of the summer, where it gets Baghdad-y and starts to resemble a hot desert climate, albeit briefly -- Conditions return to pleasant for the remainder part of the year.

B-
First of all, I never stopped loving fictional climates. This one here is very creative - and even despite the intense heat of those summers, it still gets cool at night, and there are still fully nine months of the year with comfortable average highs. Overall it's a bit too dry, but sunshine is actually almost a perfect carbon copy of my own dream climate's figures. Interesting how cool the lows are even in the heat of the summer though.
It's so nice to see another person post a fictional climate again actually.

They need a little comeback here. Lol

B even though it's unrealistic, it's not bad. Nice dry summers and mild winters, but obviously midsummer is too hot, though there are only 2 uncomfortable months. I enjoy these fictional climates, we should make them more often. Also, this place is definitely not on a hill. I know it's fictional, but it must be in a frost hollow to get those extreme summer diurnals. I therefore decree that its name be changed to Treachery Basin.

B-. Summer diurnals are unrealistic as shit, but the cool lows make up for the hot summer afternoons

What's the meterological/climatic explanation for those mild summer nighttime lows + scorching daytime highs + non-absence of rainfall?
Obviously very unrealistic but still a step up from a lot of the fantastical climates we see on City-Data.

It is definitely unrealistic - Fictional doesn't mean realistic. Is it really that shocking? And let's not give it a lower rating because it's too unrealistic. That's like giving a pleasant Ethiopian highland climate an F because the country is unlivable. Lol

Obviously very unrealistic but still a step up from a lot of the fantastical climates we see on City-Data. Perhaps it's in the middle of a fictional large continent and is considerably elevated (800m+). It's a fictional climate and like I said they're not supposed to be very realistic. I didn't know that fictional climates are supposed to be realistic, but whatever I guess...

C. Not bad for most of the year for being sunny and pleasant.

C+, too arid and summers are too hot even for me, but it could be so much worse.
