Claratal for being the driest of the bunch and still getting seasons.

Claratal
Too arid, but it stays decently warm for long enough in the summer.

Nobody voted for Thredbo, so I'll volunteer. I could drive down to Angler's place for fun on the weekend and ski in summer (?). Belfast is decent too.

Thredbo for the summer, but winter is too much cold and snowy. Belfast second place but all the other ones are disgusting.
p.s. how come the bottom of the mountain (village) so wet in Thredbo? 1700mm worse than rainforest ๐คข Shame because temperatures are so good like Ranfurly New Zealand which is my favourite climate.

The windward ( western ) sides of the south eastern AU Great Dividing Ranges get the full force of frontal westerly weather systems, particularly in winter and spring months. In fact it is the precipation of the region that allows the Snowy Mountains to have a viable ski industry....the temps are marginal at best for skiable snowpack, but the heavy windward side rainfall pattern mean heavy snowfalls at higher altitude.

Yeah I guess an icy, slushy snowpack is better than no snow pack at all for skiing. Can't ski on dirt and rocks!

Claratel is a B+ climate, pretty cute climate, even though its name sounds like a pharmaceutical drug or something
