I intend to mark stuff out on this map and then I want people to guess the actual location marked out's warmest month summer highs As we all know Eureka is a crazy-ass climate that hovers from 13-18C year round on the site of the weather station near the ocean, whereas just 40 km inland daytime highs are 35C! Take elevation into account Oh and these are Eureka's waterside/downtown normals.

The red dot is at an elevation of 3 metres (10 ft) and I'd guess it to have a summer high of 20.1C, what about you guys?

It's a bit close to the shore...I would guess 19C high in August Yeah I'm a little bit concerned about the northern shore there and how much it actually impacts, even though it has four miles to the west of land for the 40N air to travel over... 19.8C may be a bit more representative

This one should be a bit warmer with the great wall of forests and some hills to shield from the maritime air! I'd say 22.4C in August, now what about you others? Giorbanguly etc

Yeah I would guess around 22°C as well. Yeah. Not enough high hills between to bring it above that. 4 km in though in a pocket of lowlands (20 m asl) and 12-13 km from the open sea? There I'd go with 26.3C because the higher hills either way compress the heat down. The lows are likely slightly lower than Eureka there though (say 11.0C). It's anyone's guess though because 25-28C would be entirely possible in that location, such violent can those swings be If the hills don't keep the heat trapped I could easily see it even being 24.8C, I'd love a weather station there.
