I assume it’s somewhere in the highlands of the Atacama Desert. The location with the highest diurnal ranges I could find is Uyuni in Peru, which has a high of 13.1C and a low of -9.7C in July, giving a diurnal range of 22.8C. The UV index there is also dangerously high. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uyuni

I stumbled upon this: Pinnacles National Park, CA, United States. Apparently it has mean diurnal temperature range of over 20ºC (36ºF). That's nutz! Low Lows and High Highs Park
