Through careful study and observation, I've noticed that there are roughly three types of climate enjoyers on this forum:
1. Extremophiles - Love extreme weather and temperatures.
2. Weather enthusiasts - Interested in varied and "interesting" weather, but don't necessarily like extreme temperatures.
3. Fair weather fans - Mainly interested in comfort, doesn't seek "interesting" weather.
Of course, not many people purely fall into one category. Not to mention that what is "comfortable" and "interesting" is subjective, and depends on the person.
Which one of these categories describes you the best?

Weather enthusiast for me obviously. I enjoy many types of interesting weather such as thunderstorms, heavy winter/spring rains, and heat waves. However, I despise the extreme cold temperatures that some on here like, and while extreme heat is epic in bursts, I wouldn't want it to completely dominate the summer season.

I'm definitely an enthusiast as well. I love storms and want to have some day-to-day variety in temperatures, but I don't want extreme cold or heat to dominate my climate. fairweatherfan is that the category you would have put me in?

Two. I like interesting weather such as convection, windstorms, heavy rain, but not necessarily extreme temperatures.

Category 2. I like interesting weather like big day to day temp changes, thunderstorms, heavy snow, hail, and short lived extreme temps.
However I want averages overall to be comfortable and long stretches of cold/heat annoy me

I like hot summers and mild/coolish winters but nothing extreme, so I suppose I fall in Category II (weather enthusiasts).

Extremophile I guess. The days of extreme weather make me enjoy more the comfortable days that come after it.

I'm a fair weather fan, as my username says. I don't really care about the day-to-day weather that much, to be honest. I wouldn't want the weather to completely fair or comfortable all the time though because that would be boring.

Somewhere between 2 and 3. I like fair weather but I do find extreme/anomalous snaps very interesting! You see, I'm still waiting for Sydney to hit 50C, same way Jews are waiting for their messiah XD

I'm in category 2. I enjoy interesting weather and day-to-day variety, but wouldn't want long periods of extreme temps or natural disasters.
