Bayanbulag by anti-life standards.
Valle Nuevo by pro-life standards.

Gicumbi
The Mongolian place has nightmare winters, frigid but no snow

Asmara, dry and comfortable with several distinct seasons.
How is Rwanda so much warmer than neighboring Burundi at the same elevation?

Gicumbi for getting dry warmth and a decent amount of rainfall too.

Gicumbi for being decently mild and not having a lengthy dry season

Gicumbi
Comfortable year-round even if it doesn't excite me much.

Ended up going with Asmara in a close one. There's some sense of seasonality there, at least with the lows without being too cold.

Gicumbi for getting dry warmth and a decent amount of rainfall too. Did you mean Asmara? Gicumbi only has 1 dry month, Asmara has a few months with warm days in a build-up to the wet season.
I pick Gicumbi, it has decent warm temps and avoids being too wet (Bellecombe-Jacob, Réunion) or too dry (Asmara). Valle-Nuevo has never reached 23C and Bayanbulag's cold dry winters are not what I want.

I did mean to pick Gicumbi. Asmara's lows are too chilly and Gicumbi is still never very wet.

Gicumbi The Mongolian place has nightmare winters, frigid but no snow Definitely the opposite of nightmare. Those dry winters mean no snow to shovel.

Definitely the opposite of nightmare. Those dry winters mean no snow to shovel. Idgaf about snow to shovel, snow is pretty. What is awful though is frigid temps where you have to bundle up every day and you’re still uncomfortable but there’s nothing interesting about it because there’s no snow and it’s super stable. Hard to get worse except being colder

Surprised to see how chilly the Dominican place is compared to various Mexican/Central American locations at similar altitude, but it's not too different from that Reunion Island station.
Despite the dryness, I voted for Asmara, Eritrea. Gicumbi, Rwanda, looks very comfortable but too dull.

Gicumbi for having the best precipitation pattern and acceptable temperatures.

As much as I like sun, the warmer temperatures of Gicumbi give it the vote over Asmara (although both are nice B- climates). Baylanbulag sounds like 'gulag,' a climate fitting the punishment in winter.
