I was looking at towns on the North Slope of Alaska, and saw one a ways to the southeast of Utqiagvik known as Nuiqsut. It has a similar annual average temperature to Utqiagvik but is more continental. Which do you prefer?
I pick Nuiqsut for the warmer summers.

Nuisqut.
I think every single person will pick it for the significantly warmer summers as the winters are only 3-5 f colder at already frigid remos where 3-5 f makes no difference

No redeeming qualities about Barrow's/Utqiagvik's climate.

Nuiqsut
Better option would still be cyanide. This is the worst climate I've ever been forced to vote for in a battle. But yes, the very remote chance of an isolated warm day in summer does make it better than Utqiagvik (which is still hard to spell).

My answer would be the less windy one. I would think that's Nuiqsut since it is further inland. Also like others have said there's a few warm days there that don't happen in Utqiagvik. May-Sep is warmer and the other months are cold enough that a few degrees don't matter.

Nuiqsut. I actually can't think of anyone on here that would prefer Utqiagvik

I kind of figured Nuiqsut would win in a landslide, but I was curious to see if anyone had some justification for why Utqiagvik would be better.

Nuisqut- at least a few days on a 'normal' year reach above 20ΒΊC!
