Shiraz is Iran's fifth most populous city. It is known for its gardens, and it was historically known for its wine. Wikipedia describes it as having a "moderate climate". Moderate by Iranian standards, I guess. How would you rate Shiraz's climate?    |

A-. Overall really good temps and rainfall pattern but just too dry year round, also a tad too continental for my tastes.

C+. Not bad, but not great either.
The precipitation pattern fits my tastes, but the dry season is long and harsh.
Temperatures are okay. Winter is not bad, it's cold without getting too cold, but the summer heat is quite uncomfortable.
Very sunny overall, maybe too sunny.

C. Too much of a seasonal range (although good averages), diurnal range while being a semi-desert. At least it's sunny
