Four similar south eastern Australian towns ( well, somewhat similar names begining with the letter 'N'. ), but in actual fact quite different climatically.
The map below shows the locations.... so as you can see, Naracoorte in located in the far south eastern corner of South Australia and about 80klm from the coast. Narrandera is ya typical Riverina town in south western NSW, whereas Narooma is a coastal holiday town on the lee side of the Australian Alps in the far sourh east of NSW. And lastly, Narrabri located on the north west slopes and plains of NSW.

Climate:
Narrabri experiences a humid subtropical climate (Köppen Cfa) with slight semi arid influence. In summer temperatures above 40 °C or 104 °F are common while in winter temperatures below 0 °C or 32 °F are also common. Typical of humid subtropical climates rainfall is more common in summer than in winter.
