A few months back a battle between Sevastopol, Crimea and Sebastopol, California was created, but this time it's between the Crimean city and Sebastopol, Victoria. Both places have almost identical annual mean temperatures, though their climates are rather different. Sevastopol, CrimeaIt is a major port on the Black Sea and is internationally recognised as part of Ukraine, but is occupied by Russia. Note: The precipitation days seem really off. August has 0 rain days yet 33mm of rain Sebastopol, Victoria, Australia
Sebastopol is a suburb on the southern outskirts of Ballarat, Victoria and is named after the Crimean city.

Was tempted to go with Ballarat/Aussie one for the warmer annual highs, but then saw the god-awful summer average lows, thus I'm giving a bit of an edge to the Crimean/Russian one

Tough one to think about. I’m going with Crimea for the warmer, more stable summers, even though the winters are long and cloudy.

It's like having to choose if a toothache is better or worse than a root canal..... The one near Ballarat reluctantly....( sigh )

The one in Australia for more rain and better winter temps. I like snowy winters but 6/0 is not good for that. 10/3 sounds better than 6/0.

The Australian one is better than the Ukrainian one.

Crimea is Ukraine.
The Australian Sebastopol has a poor summer. Daily mean of 18C in the warmest month? That's the level of Riga, Latvia.

Victoria I guess: likely similar sunshine, but wetter and less seasonal range seals the deal

The Ukrainian one, yes it has colder winters, but VIC's summer lows are unforgivable.
