Both WA and OR are dominated by Csb and Bsk climates, but both have a small corner of their state that falls under Csa or comes very close. Oregon's is in the southwest, and Washington's is in the southeast. So which corner has the better climate? I imagine that snow lovers will vote for Washington, and snow haters will vote for Oregon. But it will be interesting to see how much of a turn off Walla Walla's dark winters will be. I don't know about Medford, but I imagine it would be a lot sunnier since it's further south, and Walla Walla's winters are even darker than Seattle's!! Oregon: hottest daily mean / coldest daily mean [precipitation]Medford: 74.1F (23.4C) / 39.3F (4.1C) [18.31in (465.1mm)]Grants Pass: 71.8F (22.1C) / 39.8F (4.3C) [30.98in (786.9mm)]Roseburg: 71.4F (21.9C) / 42.4F (5.8C) [30.67in (779mm)]Washington: hottest daily mean / coldest daily mean [precipitation]Walla Walla: 75.4F (24.1C) / 33.7F (0.95C) [19.69in (500)]Waitsburg: 71F (22C) / 32.5F (0C) [19.3in (490mm)]Dayton: 70.9F (21.6C) / 33.2F (0.7C) [19.33in (491.1mm)]

How would you list it out? I'd personally would have it as Roseburg > Grants Pass > Medford > Dayton > Waitsburg > Walla Walla. If Medford wasn't significantly more sunnier, than I would have Dayton > Medford

Actually the exact same order as you, in general I prefer a bit more of an oceanic pattern

1. Walla Walla 2. Dayton 3. Medford 4. Grants Pass 5. Roseburg
Waitsburg has limited data from an inaccurate source.
Washington for me. Dryer and colder winters.

I've been in both areas enough to know both are shit climate-wise (and for other reasons).

OR for sure because they have climates like Brookings which WA lacks.

Ok in that case... I would still choose Oregon as the dry season lasts a bit longer.
