Pretty boring but extremely pleasant, most of the time. I was there in 2019 on July 1st and it was very windy, cold, and raining sideways. Not the best weather but it was nice after that. I'll give it a solid C+

C+, comfortable with some cool and warm temps. A bit dry for a climate with a 17C yearly mean. It's hard to rate a climate with no seasons higher than that.

Like a year-round Motueka summer I'll give it a B+, eternal spring.

It's by no means a polar bear climate (unlike actual Yellowknife), but still an F for lacking warmth. Like a year-round Motueka summer I'll give it a B+, eternal spring. One night in Motueka makes a hard man humble...

about a C there are worse out there in 'eternal land'... Yeah I can think of some additional "eternal" climates that are much worse than anything posted so far.

Like an eternal Sydney September. Looks like a normal subtropical highland climate. C+, maybe D- in a bad year

B-, very nice climate, but unfortunately lacking a tiny bit of seasonal variation. Plenty of sun, though I won't get used to the 18 hour long days (with sunsets at like 10 pm)
