Frozen precip doesn't count here, this can be for specific seasons or year-round, but this is regardless of whether said rainfall/precip is frontally forced, or convective, or caused by something else.
Discuss.

Thunderstorm, nothing to discuss!

Close between steady rain and showers (without thunder). Voted steady rain though for being less likely to result in uneven rainfall distribution.

1. Thunderstorms 2. Drizzle
Thunderstorms are by far the best, drizzle is nice but in moderation. Anything else is total ass.

Short showers of heavy rain that last for 2 hours at most. 3 or more consecutive days of nonstop drizzle can go fuck themselves.

Thunderstorms. All other rainfall is useless garbage.

It depends on the temperature. If it's above 60ยบF, I prefer thunderstorms. If it's below 60ยบF, I prefer steady rain. Since most rain should fall at cooler temps, I prefer steady rain.
Drizzle and showers can fuck off at all temperatures.

Drizzle is nice. Favorite form of precipitation is not something I've thought about before, though.

Everything is OK in moderation. Thunderstorms are my favorite. Steady rain is probably my least favorite but it's great for keeping plants green and I like plants to be green.

Moonsoonal downpour, with squalls screaming in from the Timor Sea. usually no thunder in them, just a line on the horizen, blow through in 10 mins with strong gusty winds and horizontal rain. Gone as quick as they arrive, then half to an hour later another one blows in.... this pattern can last for many days at a time during active phases of the Monsoon.

Drizzle in winter, occasional quick showers or thunderstorms in summer.
Ideally nothing in summer though.

1.) Thunderstorms; no explanation needed. 2.) Steady, all-day rain. Days like this are cozy and really make everything nice and lush during summer.

Showers with little thunder hear and there, makes a nice musical accompaniment. But a full on thunderstorm can be annoying.

1. Steady, moderate rain (during autumn, winter, spring) 2. Thunderstorms (during late spring, summer)
Drizzle is crap, showers are alright.

All are awesome. Though, if forced to choose, tstorms are first and showers are last.
