Showers because they're usually light and therefore don't interrupt outdoor activities too much. They often result in low precip totals, which I appreciate as someone who prefers drier climates. And due to their intermittent nature, it's not uncommon for them to be accompanied by sunbreaks.

All of them. They all have their place and it keeps things more interesting. I went with showers though because I like variable sky cover and on and off rain.

I oringally said "thunderstorm" - but any rain that is very heavy, squally and (hopefully) brief is exciting/interesting. Despise boring constant light rain. Drizzle is not the worst necessarily, as it is usually light enough I don't really get wet going out in it.

Thunderstorms. Occassional heavy showers without thunder are accepted.
