2012-23: Not really ideal, but this is the best way I can arrange these years. The problem is we've had some shit ass years like 2014 or 2016, and they make this more complicated. Wish I could use some years more than once, that would be much better.

* January 2016 (good amount of cold interspersed with warm periods) * February 2022 (good amount of cold interspersed with warm periods) * March 2021 (warm and dry like March should be, but not ridiculously so like 2012) * April 2017 (strangely, April has been often below seasonal in recent years and this is one of the few above seasonal years) * May 2013 (a lot of warm dry days but not many hot days) * June 2019 (coolish, don't want June too warm)[/url] * July 2017 (not hot and relatively storm-free) * August 2014 (not hot and relatively storm-free) * September 2019 (a lot of mild days) * October 2016 (extended September weather early, then becoming crisp and cool) * November 2015 (a lot of warm sunny days but not ridiculously warm) * December 2016 (actually feels like winter, White Christmas)

This should be about a B+. Basically I tried to maximize rain from April to October as a first priority. Then I maximized summer temps for June and August where no month had significant rain. After that I minimized winter temps. And for March and November I chose the months that are warmer and have more moderate rainfall. January: 2013 February: 2023 March: 2014 April: 2012 May: 2019 June: 2017 July: 2015 August: 2020 September: 2022 October: 2016 November: 2018 December: 2021

arcleo that's a really funky looking climate and while I especially hate the lag, I'd still grade it an A based off of the stellar rainfall pattern, amounts, and average temps.

Ideal should not be taken literally, but there's only so much you can do with a climate that have very few ideal months in the first place. Especially October was the victim of circumstances, as all the better years were already taken. Sunshine stats were not taken into consideration, and therefore not in the table. But in May that was 411 hours, so if you want to get a tan on for summer, you had the opportunity to do so.

From the various places I've lived in, I nominate: January 2013 - an interesting month, from heavy snow to mild periods and even a squally winter thunderstorm February 2019 = sunny and mild March 2012 = a sunny month April 2011 - a sunny month May 2018 - a very sunny month June 2020 = a decent month with a fair few thunderstorms July 2022 - featured the record temperature August 2016 - all that was really left that wasn't complete rubbish September 2021 - pleasantly mild and a good thunderstorm October 2014 - mild for the location November 2017 - not great but at least drier than average for the location December 2015 - mildest winter month on record Since one of these places is 999ft MSL the inclusion of months from there makes it look a lot worse than had they been selected from my current location.
