It's a choice between jumping off a cliff and poisoning oneself, but Tristan da Cunha for warmer averages and more sunshine (it's also at a lower latitude, which is a good thing mind you).

Tristan da Cunha for being warmer and getting heavy winter rains.

Tristan da Cunha for being warmer, even though it's very boring

Seeing as how Tristan's record high is a pathetic 24.4C and the high number of rain days, I'll go with Scotland.
Heat wankers are really just comfort wankers in disguise.
With that said, I really don't like the Scottish climate at all and I'd almost choose Tristan.

Tristan da Cunha
Both climates are ass, but this one is "warmer" year-round.

The Scottish one. Tristan da Cunha has virtually no temperature variability and the shitty mild conditions would get old very quickly.

Scotland for greater seasonality (and not even being that much cloudier).

Tristan da Cunha for having cool, not cold rain and requiring less clothing (throughout the year).
