I'll stick with the cities with relatively distinct climates to not clump up the poll for convenience's sake. Excluded large notable cities like Sydney and Brisbane for fairness (since people can play favourites and have bias). P.S. I removed the mean maximum/mean minimum boxes as they took up a lot of space.

Rockhampton it is! Still one of my favorite climates in the world. I'll stick with the cities with relatively distinct climates to not clump up the poll for convenience's sake. Excluded large notable cities like Sydney and Brisbane for fairness (since people can play favourites and have bias). [cut] P.S. I removed the mean maximum/mean minimum boxes as they took up a lot of space. Also, it's worth remembering that mean maximum and mean minimum temps aren't actually the monthly mean maxima/minima, but the 90th/10th percentiles for highs and lows respectively as reported by the weirdo cummers at BOM, thus it's not the same as monthly mean maxima in NWS/NOWData. In other words, the east coast of Oz's heat potential is better than the boxes make them look (as the mean max/min would be approximately the 97th and 3rd percentile respectively). More proof that the stretch from Rockhampton down through Gladstone to Brisbane and the Gold Coast is a climatic paradise.

I'll take Rockhampton for being the warmest, but I wouldn't rate any of these lower than a B+.

Coffs Harbor
Gold Coast, Seaway isn't bad either though a tad on the warm side in the summer.

Newcastle by a hair- although Merimbula looks very nice. All of them are better than a C+ IMO
