So Alonso retiring and Sainz coming in his place instead, marking the first time since 1995 McLaren have fielded two drivers without career race wins next season. Do you think Lando Norris given the chance would be good enough to save McLaren if the car got better @b87? I've really seen nothing of Sainz to suggest he'd be faster than Vandoorne, especially considering who Vandoorne has been up against these two seasons.

Lol, I'm completely unmotivated for the rest of the F1 season considering what cheats Mercedes are  Also hearing rumours about Kimi signing a new contract which is disastrous news given Vettel needs some new motivation from a youngster to perform. Kimi is turning 40 next season and hasn't really performed in five years at Ferrari - not to mention the blow to Leclerc's confidence putting him in a Haas would mean... |

The motorbike race has been delayed for multiple hours due to standing water all over the circuit. Riders went off during the sighting lap even at the lowest gear cruising around...

It was actually serious. Five or six riders fell in the same corner due to aquaplanning in free practice under similar conditions, one of them being ran over by a falling bike and breaking his leg in two spots.
The reason there was the drainage on the new track surface at Silverstone completely malfunctioning. All the water was being led onto the Hangar Straight down the hill from Stowe, causing a proper river on the race track with about half a foot of standing water. Also the corner after that, the chicane leading out onto the F1 start-finish straight had similar conditions. The problem was that it had pretty much stopped raining when they made that call, that was my only issue. But during those four hours they waited, the track was unusable and somebody might have died in Stowe Corner on the first lap had they been forced to race.
