Torshavn now has over 1000 hours of sunshine. Very surprising indeed considering it used to have only 800 hours, that's an increase of 25%.

Fargo because of more variability, more sun, and more snow although it is far from being a good climate.

Fargo for reliable warmth (albeit short lived) and the decent sunshine hours. Still that isn't saying much.

Fargo. Awful winters but summers, sun and overall variability easily beat Torshavn's eternal gloom. Faroe has some stunning landscapes, though.

Agree on the landscapes in Tórshavn. But the climate sucks. Fargo all the way. Fargo with wetter winters is an A climate.

Fargo blows Torshavn out of the water. Looks like a solid five months of nice weather - warm and sunny afternoons but maybe a bit chilly at night. Versus zero in Torshavn LOL.

Fargo for far warmer, sunnier and longer summers to compensate for those frigid winters; and earns a D-. Meanwhile, Tórshavn is closer to a stereotype of London with consistent cool and wet conditions year-round (E-)
